[May 17] Reconnection & Community God the King Raises Deliverers - Judges as Saviours

“Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them…” Judges 2:16

The Book of Judges is not merely a history of battles and leaders; it is the story of people who lost connection:

 connection with God,

 connection with covenant,

 connection with truth,

 connection with one another.

Whenever Israel disconnected from God, division entered the community. Idolatry replaced worship, isolation replaced unity, fear replaced faith, and oppression replaced peace.

Yet the mercy of God appears in one powerful word:

“Nevertheless…”
