[May 10] Receiving Healing and Deliverance - The Pathway of Faith
The ministry of Jesus Christ consistently reveals a pattern: healing and deliverance are not
random acts, they flow through divine order. In John 4:45–54 (KJV), we encounter a nobleman whose son was at the point of death. His miracle did not begin with healing, it began with hearing, seeking, and believing.
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)
“Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.” (John 4:48)
This tension between seeing and believing versus hearing and trusting is central. Many
witnessed Christ’s works in Jerusalem (John 2:23; 3:2), yet not all perceived the truth (Matthew 13:14). Healing requires more than observation, it demands revelation and response.
As Smith Wigglesworth declared: “Faith is an act, it is not just believing God can, but knowing
He will.”
This message addresses the essential question: How does one truly receive healing and
deliverance?
